Frequently Asked Questions About My Calmness Course

FAQ about my anxiety treatment program

Here are some frequently asked questions about my online anxiety and OCD education program and recovery course.

Why is it so affordable?

I understand what it’s like to experience anxiety and depression, and I recognise that seeking professional help can be quite expensive. Many people struggle to afford the number of therapy sessions needed to effectively address their mental health issues. That’s why I wanted to create a comprehensive and affordable resource for those who genuinely want to help themselves.

Also, I hate the way we are sold to on the internet with upselling, cross selling, discounts and blah, blah, blah…

I just wanted an honest sale. One price to access everything, all the time you are a member, then you can leave any time or stay and support me so I can keep these fees low for others!

I truly do wish for there to be less anxiety in the world because I know it is so very treatable given the right information, motivation and inspiration.

I was a very self-conscious and anxious child who developed OCD in my early teens and struggled with bipolar depression starting in my late teens. I battled these conditions until they culminated in a nervous breakdown at the age of 35. Following this event, I decided to dedicate all my time and effort to understanding these conditions and exploring self-help strategies beyond what our doctors offered through medication and conventional therapy.

Once I found relief from these challenges, I chose to retrain as a therapist. I spent two decades working with individuals facing complex anxiety issues, which deepened my understanding of their struggles.

The course consists of a series of videos, guided meditations, short essays, and workbooks designed to teach you about anxiety, OCD, and depression. You will learn how to manage these challenges, enhance your self-worth, and acquire new life skills to break old habits. Throughout the course, I will also assist you in determining who you want to become and what you wish to do with your life.

You can subscribe on a monthly basis to access over 60 videos, each ranging from 30 minutes to an hour in length. I also provide recommendations for books to read and meditations to listen to.

It’s entirely up to you how long you choose to subscribe; you can progress through the course at your own pace, either quickly or slowly. There is no right or wrong way to approach it.

Additionally, you have the flexibility to unsubscribe at any time. This means you can subscribe for a few months, take a break, and then resubscribe when you’re ready to continue.

You are subscribed to the course, and you can ask me questions below each video, which I will answer. You will also have the opportunity to view other questions I have answered. If you have a more private question, feel free to use the private messaging function within the course.

The course is hosted on a platform called Patreon, they handle all the payments via PayPal and credit card protocols – I do not have any access to your payment information or details.

I have found their security to be exceptional, and I have never had any issues.

If you are not satisfied within the first month, I will refund your payment for that month.

While I cannot guarantee that the course will address all of your challenges, I can assure you that if you put in the effort, you will become a new person, better equipped to face life with greater calmness.

I can also guarantee that I could not have put any more effort into creating this course than I have, it took me twenty years to learn and five years to create.

I believe you should explore all available options, and I’m just one of many you could consider. Once you try it, you’ll know if it works for you.

Anxiety disorders can lead to self-doubt, and I want to help you build your trust in the process.

You can watch the first two videos for free, and there’s a two-minute preview available for each video in the course, so I am committed to being open and transparent.

Trying the course for three months will cost less than a single decent therapy session, which makes it worth a shot.

Additionally, my course is unique because I focus on teaching practical life skills while also helping you manage anxiety and depression.

Although this program is called an anxiety recovery course, its primary focus is on helping you better understand your brain and body. It offers practical strategies to foster calmness, self-worth, and self-love while guiding you to gain a clearer insight into your true self and how to engage more effectively with the world around you.

Interestingly, individuals who do not experience anxiety or depression may benefit more from the course. They are often more likely to enrol and fully commit to the material.

This highlights a troubling aspect of anxiety, OCD, and depression: those who are affected by these conditions may not put in as much effort as their friends and family members who seek to help them.

I made this short video to explain what I would do if I were suppoerting a loved one who had anxiety but wasn’t prepared to help themselves.

This course was designed for adults, but it is suitable for individuals around the age of twelve or thirteen (and above) as well.

If you have a younger child facing mental health challenges, you might consider taking the course yourself first. This way, you can learn the techniques and then teach them to your child in a way that is age-appropriate and comprehensible.

Many adults who have successfully completed this course have reported that after discovering greater calmness and courage within themselves, once they became parents, they began teaching their children these techniques from a young age with great success.

Much of what I teach revolves around practical life skills that are based on common sense.

At sign-up, there is a gifting option where you can choose an annual subscription or a set period of months (all you will need is the other person’s email address).
