Anxiety & OCD Therapist Resources

Therapist Resources

If you are a therapist and work with people who are experiencing anxiety disorders or depression, taking this course yourself may give you thousands of new ways to communicate with your clients and offer them constructive guidance that empowers them to help themselves.

With two decades of experience as a therapist specialising in complex anxiety, as well as my personal journey through anxiety, OCD, and depression, I have learned that one of the most challenging tasks for therapists is to simplify and demystify these conditions.

When clients understand how these issues develop and operate, and when they are given practical tools to reverse the process, they feel empowered to take action rather than viewing themselves as victims of their circumstances.

My course uses effective metaphors and personal recovery stories to break down mental health issues into smaller, more manageable concepts. This approach helps clients address important questions such as, “Why is this happening to me?”, “What can I do about it?”, and “Why has no one told me about this before?”

Many of my former clients have retrained as therapists, and they often express that even after receiving their accreditations, they still feel unprepared to truly help those seeking their assistance. They have shared that many concepts I taught them, which helped them overcome their mental health challenges, were largely missing from their training and accreditation programs.

This course aims to provide new perspectives on mental health issues while introducing innovative concepts and methodologies that you can integrate into your own therapeutic style and practices.

As therapists, I believe it is essential for us to explore various approaches on ourselves. By doing so, we can deepen our understanding of the available knowledge and identify what truly works.

You have nothing to lose by subscribing for a month or two to explore my knowledge and experience it at a much deeper level.

Another important aspect of my work that may interest you is that once a person has successfully risen above their anxiety, depression, or other self-sabotaging behaviours, they often require guidance in developing techniques and skills to re-engage with life. Without this support, they may relapse into old patterns. Therefore, much of the latter part of my course focuses on teaching the practical life skills necessary to confidently step into life and discover who you want to be and what you want from life.
