In this 62-minute video, we delve into how we can shift from left-brain logic to tapping into our right-brain connection with creativity, nature, and energy.
Since we are made of atoms and atoms consist of energy, we are inherently energetic beings. How can we begin to view ourselves from this fresh perspective?
We also explore how to recharge by surrounding ourselves with high-energy people, environments, and thoughts, while distancing ourselves from influences that may drain our energy.
Information about this video
I’ve called this video – Using energy wisely to consciously become the sum of your parts, rather than unconsciously being run by some of your parts.
And I would like to expand on my last video, where I proposed that logical intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) are two ends of a spectrum which we might metaphorically label as left-brain and right- brain functionality and these two parts function very differently.
I’m proposing that if we wish to function to our fullest potential it might be common sense to master the skills required to have both hemispheres fully online and working together – and actively respecting each other for the diverse value each offers to the whole (though neither could fully comprehend the full utility of the other).
And I believe that most people’s anxiety comes from the conflict of having an overdeveloped (and conditioned) analytical, thinking left brain – whilst their right brain is screaming out to engage with life, meaning, purpose, creativity, nature, love, divinity or the like.
And if that’s the case, it might be common sense to ask yourself one simple question – am I operating to my fullest potential?
Could it be that just by observing life through a different, more energetic lens – might I be able to stop the brain from its relentless thinking by removing its questions and giving it a different model to operate from?
And, remember, (in my world) there is no such thing as the mind, just the mind screen, where the brain broadcasts and displays its many (and varied) ideas.
This stops you from blaming your mind for not making decisions, as your mind is just a screen – and you need to take responsibility for making decisions, nobody else – and remember, decision-makers who take responsibility, get things done!
So, might we be (unknowingly) limiting our potential by identifying with our conditioned intellect?
Or could it be that we are being discreetly trained by those who control us to ignore the incredible powers which lay dormant within the right side of our brain rendering us tired, detached, restricted and therefore fearful and compliant, therefore easy to govern, which is good for them, but not necessarily good for us.
I suppose what I am saying is, if we could get past the incessant limitations of our logic and reasoning brain – what might we find on the other side of the fence, or in brain language the corpus callosum?
Could our decisions and behaviours sometimes come from logic and reason and other times simply from a feeling or a deeply felt, inexplicable knowing, almost as if something outside of us were giving us guidance?
Like when animals migrate, they intuitively read the energetic language of nature; they don’t ask why, they just know – the life force within them (like a magnet) attracts them to opportunities conducive to life and repels them from that which is harmful or might leech that life force away.
I remember back when the ‘penny dropped’ for me because it was really quite shocking – that there is no such thing as ‘the right way’ to do anything – and that the truth was a unique and subjective experience,
And what’s true for me might not be true for anybody else, but still no less true to me!
And when I woke up from my ‘conditioned slumber’ and glimpsed that you could do whatever you want in this lifetime – if you would only let go of all the stories (the lies in your brain) of what might go wrong and replace them with new lies of all the things that could go right – and to actively take actions in those directions, no matter how (taking those actions) made you feel!
Because if your unconscious brain is going to lie to you, you may as well consciously lie back to it usefully, with optimistically, self-love, positivity and full-on placebo – because it works!
